By no means at all am I fan of the electronic genre of music, however, every now and then I will find a record that rather instantly gets me hooked. Ember Island's "Need You" is that track. The Swedish trio takes their electronic/indie-pop writing/producing style to a new softer level. "Need You" delivers a touch of electro but it doesn't over do it with too many obnoxious drops and annoying bass slaps. Along with artfully done production comes amazing vocals that would sound good over just about anything. All and all, Ember Island pull off a warming and soothing mixture of melodies that just about anyone could enjoy with "Need You".
