Originally the track "Ride" from NBC's "The Voice" star Ashley Dubose was on her debut LP Be You and featured Epic Records rapper Rocky Diamonds. When fellow Minnesotan Rey Gordo (Free Lunch Crew) heard the original he fell in love and wanted to do a remix to the track. When granted permission to take control of one of his favorites on the LP, he took his chance and ran with it.
