As Dope Means releases there debut LP, Government Funded, they deliver the video for “Voices,” which tells the tale of Crumb’s personal experience while away from home and deployed overseas. With the first verse Crumb blames himself and his poor attitude while deployed for the destruction of a long distance relationship; wrongly accusing and negatively portraying events that were in fact not taking place. The second verse focuses on his best friend who passed away in the midst of a bitter feud. The stories contain apologies, thoughts, and feelings that may never be heard--remaining stuck in a cluttered mind.
