Jealous Monk’s brand of synth-heavy indie hip hop has been a New Orleans favorite since the band’s inception in 2005. Twice voted “Best Hip Hop Act” by Where Y’at Magazine, the band has developed a significant following over the years both nationally as well as locally. As their newest project, “I Love, I Hustle” reflects the rich and diverse musical culture of New Orleans starting with the standout single “Heatwave” - a 60's -inspired hip hop song complete with live horn and string accompaniments produced by Jermaine Quiz.
