The homie Avant-Garde drops his sophomore project 2v Sides of the Same: Spittin; Images. 17 tracks with only one feature from kMOOCHy. Avant states "This project is a truly signifies my coming of age as well as the expansion and growth of my craft. Every one of these tapes is a chapter in my life. For Sides of the Same it was like all of the stress and frustration of being overlooked sparked somewhat of a beautiful disaster. The main aim was to present a level of versatility that listeners hadn't previously heard in my sound. Each track is a completely different experience but they culminate to make a solid piece of artwork. Whether you've heard of me or not this is my epitaph. Multiple parts of my personality were channeled to ultimately create what I feel is my best work to date. With that said listen with a heavy heart and open mind."
