The original cover was recently released on Kon Boogie's "Believe or Never Grow" mixtape but before the project went public, Kon tapped Ricky Vaughn to rework the track with some electronic flavor. So Ricky took "Hot Stepper" and reshaped it into a Reggae "Trap Bubblin" Anthem, keeping the chorus and most of the lyrics to maintain the reggae feel and then flipping it into a more popular electronic sound.
