After releasing his Prisoner Of Conscious back in May, Kweli has planned to drop his sixth studio album titled Gravitas on December 15th. He states "When you pre order my newest project, Gravitas, available Dec 15th, you will be buying it directly from me, no middleman, and I will now have a direct relationship with you. Who needs this industry when we have each other. The technology exists for me to have this relationship with the fans, and vice versa. It is a grand experiment. Let’s go for it!"
Now personally I very much did not like his POC album. It seemed commercial and Talib really stepped out of his element to try and make some bad music with artists he shouldn't have worked with. Hopefully this new album returns him back to his roots which made the underground heads love him.
