OK so during the VladTV interview, Madchild answers the question "are you looking to chase the US success" and he says no. He gives all his props to the younger generation and artists like Drake but that not the music he wants to make. He claims they make "real art" hip hop instead of being motivated by business purposes.
Now me personally I haven't been a fan of the past years of music they have been making, more so the lyrics and so called "swag" of Madchild's style. I believe homie is a true emcee and is very very talented but in the recent album's I am hearing more of an inspiration of the younger generation flow and lyrics in Mad's verses. Prevail has always keeped it G, but for some reason Mad has thrown me off a bit.
I'm hoping I can get a glimpse of that "Balance" and "Bad Dreams" type of feel from these two, especially from the beats as well.
Overall these two are dope and have achieved more then even the main streamers today have.
