Doomtree Announce "Every Single Day", The Book

While hard at work in the studio churning out the follow-up to 2011's critically acclaimed "No Kings" album, Doomtree has announced the release of a massive retrospective photo book chronicling the history of what Village Voice calls "one of the most talented and dedicated rap groups working today." Doomtree: Every Single Day includes over ten years and 500 pages of behind the scenes photos, artwork, artifacts, and inside jokes from the hardest working collective in hip-hop.  The book, out August 26th, is limited to just 1,500 copies and currently available for pre-order from doomtree.net.  The pre-order includes a 12” x 9” hardcover book autographed by all 7 crew members, plus a limited edition 22-track Best of False Hopes CD including rare, unreleased, and out-of-print songs from Doomtree's early years.

Doomtree is made up of P.O.S., Dessa, Sims, Cecil Otter, Mike Mictlan, Lazerbeak, and Paper Tiger.  Each member of the crew brings various musical backgrounds together to create alternative-influenced rap and hip-hop music.  The crew have a few upcoming festival dates, which are listed below.

08/16 - Omaha, NE - MAHA Music Festival
08.30 - St. Paul, MN - Minnesota State Fair Grandstand
09.26 - 09.28 - Dallas, TX - Index Fest
