Seven the General & Nick Speed Present: A.R.T. the DIA Project Documentary

"Seven the General & platinum producer Nick Speed document and walk the viewers through the creation of their “A.R.T. the DIA project” album. The album explores the idea that all things and all genres of music relate as it pertains to hip-hop. With Detroit in bankruptcy and dire straights the emcee uses the acronym A.R.T. stands for “All Relative Things”, The Detroit Institute of Art is a historic Detroit museum of some of the finest illustrations of art known to man, this would be the basis for the project as well as to signify how as Detroit artists they create beauty from basically nothing or, “Art” for lack of better term organically. The ideology of Hip Hop illustrated as an Art is examined and explained with actual studio session footage and interviews by Seven the General & Nick Speed about the process it took to build the Detroit Music Award Nominated LP. Filmed and directed by Carl Ballou for Seven the General & Legendz Entertainment Filmz."
