North Carolina artist and Free The Optimus member C.Shreve delivers his new 18 track mixtape "Summer Ransom". Mixing a number of tried and true FTO soundscape architects (ILe Flottante, Shep Bryan, Handbook, P.U.R.P.) along with plenty of new connections (Whokairs?, Soul Monk, Dylan Guye) makes for what feels like a new classic in what is already a deep underground catalog. He States:
"The Summer Ransom concept is about taking your moment and your time and running with it as far as you can take it. It's also, for me personally, my best attempt at taking control of my own potential and offering a full summer of work to Hip Hop. "
