As we all found out before and now officially officially clearing the rumors that Nas is Droog, the dope NY emcee took the stage at Webster Hall last night. Accompanied by DJ Skizz and special guests Sean Price and Solace, Droog performed his acclaimed EP. Although I am a big fan and very fond of this rising star, I am confused by his tactics. In the second video he speaks on the Nas controversy and conspiracy (over a Nas instrumental too), and his tone seems to be a little defensive as if he was in a way offended that only Nas could be thought of to make the music that he put out. He may have thanked them but it was a "whatever" appreciation. Homie.. if you didn't want people to think it was Nas then you shouldn't have fed into hype. You should of came out the minute shit started instead of letting it build up until a week before your performance. Either way his music is dope and I look forward to hearing his shit for a long time.
