While always trying to test the waters and go literal with providing "social experiments", Chance The Rapper teamed up with Colin Tilley to bring us the short film, Mr. Happy.
The uniquely well done film reminded me early on of styles reminiscent from Darren Aronofsky's Requiem For A Dream, and from then on continued to set it's on roots.
Chance plays an extreme introvert by the name of Victor; who suffers from major depression and loneliness that drives him to the brink of borderline insanity. Victor then takes extreme measures in order to end his life until he meets what could be the love of his shortly timed venture.
This video contains graphic depictions of suicide that may not be appropriate for everyone.
