Last night I came across a new artist by the name of Quigley. One listen to her debut track, "Post Post Apocalypse" had me instantly hooked and kept mashing the repeat button while I wasn't busy dancing.
Quigley has been compared to FKA Twigs in terms of sound; and an even better comparison would be imagining "Prince collaborating with M83 and Kate Bush". With all of these similarities being thrown around, I'll toss in my own too, and say she sounds like a version of pumped up Lights.
Whatever it is, I like it and if any of the above artists mentioned are of your liking, you'll love Quigley.
With her latest track, "Lost Again", Quigley demonstrates a more playful sound with wisps of brilliance. In a song that I could easily see in some animated Disney movie, one thing is for sure: just take Quigley's hand and you'll never be lost again.
