Damn; just damn. I heard of the Harlem-born, Nigerian-raised, DMV native Ikey, last night and couldn't get enough. Ikey released his debut Green Card EP a few months ago and a video to one of the singles, "Roslin's Basement" recently. The video shows us around Ikey's place of living in DC and the credits the room where people get together to create wonderful music.
I am.
If you're like me and need more right away, don't fret, check out his EP below. The theme behind the 9 track collection of music touches on socially conscious issues while talking about what it's like growing up in different cultures.
