Hip-Hop trio, eMC (composed of Masta Ace, Wordsworth & Stricklin) have announced a lengthy string of dates for Europe, Australia and New Zealand! Running through late November and early December, confirmed stops appear below (with the possibility of more dates to be added shortly).
These shows will be in support of eMC’s recently released full-length album, The Tonite Show. Dropped this past summer via Penalty Entertainment (Capone N Noreaga, Joell Ortiz), the album is another conceptual gem in the group’s canon. Set around the trio’s appearance on a fictional late-night TV program, the album is bolstered by appearance from celebrity and musical guests such as Russell Peters, Tony Rock, Rosie Perez, B-Real (Cypress Hill), Xzibit and Sadat X.
The group also made moves in the U.S. recently where eMC was a co-headliner at Central Park, NYC during theRocksteady Crew’s 38th Anniversary Show. Masta Ace also made a memorable appearance during Big Daddy Kane’s set alongside Kool G Rap, Craig G and Marley Marl for a live performance of 1988’s all-time classic collaboration, “The Symphony.”
In other recent news fellow eMC member, Wordsworth just dropped an album with Producer Donel Smokes (Blu, Charli 2na) entitled New Beginning. The album is now available for purchase via your favorite physical and digital retailers.
Other recent Masta Ace appearances include a lively interview/round-table discussion on NPR’s Microphone Checkwith Ali Shaheed Muhammed (A Tribe Called Quest) and Frannie Kelley as well as an lengthy in-depth career spanning conversation with The Cipher Show.
