Four-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer Bobby Ross Avila tackles issues of racism and police brutality head-on in “No Apology”, the first single from his upcoming EP "BEATS, RIOTS & LIVES".
“I have first hand experience dealing with how the police abuse their authority at will,” Bobby Ross Avila told MTV News.
“The police falsely accused me of committing a burglary, arrested me and locked me up as felon with a $70,000 bond attached to it. I had legally prove in court that I was accused based on falsified facts and they were still in denial even when the evidence proved that I was innocent.”
