As I look to explore further out from just Hip Hop, both for myself and the site, I came across New York alternative group Mainland with their latest single "A Bit Out Of Time". The group reminds me of a unique and great era in the 80's of post punk and new wave electronic bands that dominated the decade. The track itself holds a nice smooth but hard pop sound that gets me anxious to hear whats in store on their forthcoming EP "Outcast" which is set to drop December 4th.
