You can never go wrong when dope artists collide to form a new record. That's just the case in "Built It Up", when two guys I love to listen to, Abstract and Jackson Breit, come together for a new track. With Breit handling the smooth and sexy hook, he starts the track off "building up" the suspense for Abstract to come on to the mellow Drumma Battalion produced record. Abstract then takes charge reminiscing about the good times he's had about the long lost love of his life. When she comes back into his life, he dismisses her due to focusing on his career; soon after he realizes the devastating mistake he made and realizes he threw everything out that he built up.
