Back in August, New York emcee Elijah Bank$y dropped the eerie 95' Til accompanied by the claim that his debut EP #Bansky4TheKiddas would be dropping soon. Fast forward four months to today and we get the aptly named lead single off the project, "My Hiatus." The song deals with a struggle many artists encounter: pursuing your dreams while making your parents proud. While Bank$y voices some regrets about the path he has chosen, such as his decision to forgo college, this track acts as his promise to pursue said path to its end. #Bansky4TheKiddas will be available January 15th, and so begins Bank$y's pursuit of hip hop perfection.
