Red Pill - 90s Money (Prod Alex Goose) [Official Video]

Red Pill drops off the visuals for his Alex Goose produced track "90s Money." This is the second song off of Red Pill's latest EP Day Drunk to receive a music video, the first being the project's title track. The video focuses on a ruggedly animated version of Red Pill's face rapping while select lines materialize around him as a mixture of illustrations and words. The color of the images rapidly oscilates between blue and red, perhaps in reference to the decision from which Red Pill gets his name.

Many rappers long to emulate the golden era sound of the 90's. Red Pill is not one of those rappers. He is more concerned with achieving economic success to a degree that rivals the profits of the 90's. He seemingly finds fault in these other rapper's failure to profit, explaining that "they talking about the 90's, how theyre taking it back / they ain't talking about the money all they're making is rap." It is certainly possible that Red Pill's critique is tongue-in-cheek, but just in case its not, go buy Day Drunk and help distinguish him from the other rappers he loaths so.
