Silas drops "Livin' Proof," the final single off of his forthcoming sophomore project Shades of Blue set to debut in early February. This track, produced by 6ix himself, is very much a deviation from the sound Silas defined on his debut project The Genesis in that the production and vocals are significantly trap influenced. While we at OK-Tho do not often get behind trap raps, this song serves as an exception that proves the rule on account of its lyrical integrity. Rather than rapping about cooking crack or turning up in the club, Silas preaches the importance of working hard to achieve your dreams by exemplifying his own work ethic. Shades of Blue is shaping up to be Silas' exploration of a variety of styles and sounds, a fitting function for a sophomore project.
"I was put here to make music for your mind and its never going to change"
