Because I check every single email I get to my personal account, I get kinda geeked when I find someone I've never heard with something that's decent. Luring me in with "kind of a Chance the Rapper vibe, but with more freakier redneck buddha energy" got me suspicious. So I ended up taking the North Carolina based duo, Double Gem, for a spin on their latest record, "Sex Pagoda".
Not sure if direct comparisons could be made to Chance, but I tell you what, this shit sure is catchy as hell. From the all original upbeat production, to the pitchy rap voice, to the slowed down sing-a-long hook, "Sex Pagoda" is surely (don't call me that) something I'll take seconds and even thirds from.
