A nominee for best album of the year for me three months into 2016 is Sol's The Headspace Traveler. The Seattle product dropped a 13 track album with features ranging from Otieno Terry, Dave B., Ariana DeBoo, Evan Anderson, and The Zillas.
Nowadays hip hop/rap could honestly break down into so many different sub genres and the entire Seattle region should just have a category of it's own.
The Headspace Traveler is, in my opinion, what music nowadays should try and gravitate more to. Complied of a smorgasbord of unique sounds, the album contains a little something for everybody, but mostly carries a smooth, and soulful vibe throughout. There is a problem with hip hop, open those eyes folks, this is music you never get tired of; this is the music you should be talking about.
