You may recognize this mean mug from The Palmer Squares' "Pass The Potion" video. It belongs to Chicago rapper TONY BROOKS who does more than fall under the influence of Term and Accumental. In this instance, he is reflecting on the inconsistent ecstasy that comes from getting involved with women who waver between him and their neglectful boyfriends. The atmospheric production from Snake Eyes matches the melancholy subject matter, bolstering the feeling of intermittent loneliness found within the verses. Be on the lookout for BROOKS' upcoming debut EP, YNOT dropping late this Spring. And for those of you in the area, BROOKS will be performing on April 2nd at Chicago's Portage Theater along side Martin $ky and Qari.
