South Carolina's Corey Gipson's first fully self-produced project titled "States", as in 'States of Being', is a sample flip filled journey through one young mans observable reality. Diving heavily into sounds from the mid-to late 1960s with influences from American/European Jazz, Rock, Funk and Soul; States, is a true hiphop goulash. With his third EP in two years the South Carolina native has stepped into his own after eight months of flipping vinyl and searching self.
