“Nite Owl’s Theme” is the debut of Harry Metz (Rolled Gold Beats) & Nate Forman’s group “The Nite Owls.” It carries a funky groove similar to soul groups of the 60’s & 70’s, but as an instrumental it paints a picture that could accompany a plethora of different movie scenes. From the perspective of a hip hop fan who loves to learn about older music through sampling, this song may be just as satisfying to fans of Motown, Stax & Philly soul as it would be to fans of Wu Tang Clan, MF Doom & The Roots.
