"The Boom" featuring fellow BurntBerry comrade Blaknerd, is a ridiculously ill boom bap record, that has Tableek weaving through a hypnotic palette of music (courtesy of BBE's Kid Sublime), while staying true to his roots. The single draws its source from that traditional hiphop sound, yet is unmistakingly modern in its presentation.
"I don't want anything I'm doing to be a eulogy to hiphop how it was. That shit is not interesting. What I'm concentrating on is making timeless music, not in the moment music. This is the first joint from an album that I recently recorded in Amsterdam with Kid Sublime (BBE Records)."
