Watch Masta Ace's "The Falling Season" (EPK)

M3 Records has just released an EPK on the forthcoming Masta Ace album "The Falling Season". To be released on 5/13 this is the legendary emcee’s first official album in over ten years! Keeping with his forte of conceptual hip-hop masterpieces, the album follows the artist through his high school years (1980-1984) at Sheepshead Bay High, the football team and the divergent paths him and his peers take.

The EPK features the artist breaking down the album and his approach on this one. It also features commentary from the actual people portrayed on the album on their history with Ace. A tidbit of info also released on the EPK is the return of Fats Belvidere for this album! The high-pitched wiseguy was last heard on the A Long Hot Summer album in 2004 and apparently roamed the halls of Sheepshead Bay as well.

Also appearing on the album is an all-star list of guests including Chuck D, Cormega, A.G, Your Old Droog, Wordsworth, Stricklin, The World’s Famous Supreme Team, Queen Herawin, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Pearl Gates and Pav Bundy.

The Falling Season was entirely produced by Kic Beats who has previously worked with artists including Kurupt, Canibus and eMC. Starting next week catch Masta Ace on a European run (dates below and links for more info).
