Sage Yasuke quickly follows up the release of his sagexdead EP with "Slumped And Ugly." Okugawa Jr.'s warm, wavering synths introduce the track and are quickly accompanied by stoic, hollow percussion. Father Kari, The Gameboy takes the first verse and delivers a discouraged assessment of his romantic endeavors as of late. Sage follows it up with a verse similarly inspired but imbued with more agitation than The Gameboy's. Press play and commiserate with a couple of downtrodden romantics.
