Harlem-based hip hopper S'natra drops off his latest single "Number One." The clean, triumphant beat comes compliments of Brass Tracks producer Ivan Jackson. Content wise, the track seems to be a message from S'natra to S'natra. After posing the question "What does it take to be number one?" to the world, he himself spends the verses answering it. To begin with, he establishes the path that led him to his decision to become a hip hopper. Then, in the second verse, S'natra offers both himself and listeners a reminder of what success in the music industry demands.
"Tell you what it takes
10,000 hours in the place
had to have the people in my face
telling me this dream ain't mine to chase"
