P.O.S will hit the road in 2017, touring across the US to perform tracks old and new for the first time in over four years. Full tour dates are listed below. Starting today a special Spotify pre-sale will allow fans early access to tickets with a public on-sale beginning 10/7. In celebration of the announcement, P.O.S has released a new track, “Woof,” which marks the fourth single released this year from the Minneapolis rapper (“sleepdrone/superposition,” “Wave,” “Wearing A Bear”). The song was produced by BJ Burton (Bon Iver, Francis and the Lights) and is available for free for a limited time on doomtree.net.
P.O.S is a Minneapolis-bred rapper/producer, punk philosopher, and lyrical bomb-thrower known for welding hip-hop with guitar squalls, screamed vocals, and futuristic beats fit for a Berlin nightclub. The Doomtree co-founder makes tight, declamatory music that builds on his penchant for grinding beats and radical lyrics. Kidney surgery sidelined him from touring and making music for a bit, but it’s never felt better to have him back in action.
