Hip-hop producer and jazz drummer Karriem Riggins, whose debut solo album Alone Together came out on Stones Throw in 2012, is working on a new full-length, to be released in 2017. After producing Common's 11th studio album, Black America Again,and headlined Stones Throw Superfest, he returns with the first offering entitled “Bahia Dreamin’”. An edited version of the track will appear on Benji B's triple-disc Deviation Volume 1, coming December 16th on the DJ's Deviation label as well.
Karriem will play a few shows in Japan later this month with J Rocc and Guilty Simpson.
