Maputo, Mozambique artist Blaze 5th and South African producer Johnny Filter collab on the first offering from their upcoming project titled Johnny Blaze EP.
"Soul fly is a track where I am expressing the strugles of being an artist and trying to encourage other artists to belive in themselves and explore their talents. Also how music touches me and how important it is for the soul, looking at it as something therapheutic. The hook paints the picture of me being in the studio getting blazed and creating, as a ritual to get by as we deal with our day to day lives. The instrumental complements really well with the lyrics as it was my main inspiration to writte the song, channeling all those feelings I was having at the time."
