Following my quest on SoundCloud, I got contacted by an artist not a long time ago named Uzee The Bovvaking. I had never heard about his music but decided to give it a go and man, this is raw and authentic !
Uzee The Bovvaking is a Hip Hop Artist from Nigeria, West Africa. The Bovva in his name is an abbreviation for "Born Of Virtuous and Victorious attributes". According to Hip Hop Stacks, his lyricism is well centered, with dope Boom Bap instrumentals from great producers. Here at Ok-Tho, we confirm it, this is pure fire either on the lyricism part and on the beat part !
The Bovva King is currently working on a pile of collaborative EP’s with Producers, and an artist which will all be released 2017. His first collab EP is with a French Producer named Grolok Panicrum and will soon be available. In his first mixtape, "The Large Rock Project (Give It To You Raw) vol 1" Uzee raps over Pete Rock and Large Professor Instrumentals and those tracks are still available for download on SoundCloud. He has a wide range of influences from UGK,SCARFACE,DEVIN THE DUDE to NAS,WU-TANG,MURS & 9TH WONDER,CURRENCY,SMOKE DZA,BIG KRIT & JOEY BADASS. We can definitely hear those influences with a proper lyricism style and boom bap based beats.
