After a transformative year in which Northwest rhyme-spitter Abadawn focused primarily on cleaning up his personal life and experimenting with different mediums, he is back to releasing honest and raw music with The Disappointment EP. From punchline driven rhymes to social commentary, from introspection to bizarre storytelling, there's a wide range of style and subject matter packed in these 7 tracks.
The EP features collaborations with Claud Six (Jellyfish Brigade/Hives Inquiry Squad) and singer/songwriter Sandro Cedroe (SDS Records), with production by Jay Jones (The Codependents) and Charley Haggard of the punk band MFA. This EP is another eclectic listen for Abadawn’s catalog and his most concise offering to date, toeing the line between sarcastic humor and existential maturity.
