It's already been an extremely auspicious start to 2017 for Boston based lyricist, M-Dot, as he comes off the heels of a #1 UGHH album (6 Weeks at #1), mainstream publication coverage (Boston Globe, Source Mag) and radio appearances nationwide (Shade 45, Hot 96.9FM, HipHopNation), as well as releasing numerous well received videos, features, (Large Pro, Marley Marl, Hi-Tek) and its ONLY April. M-Dot continues his onslaught this year, by releasing his latest video 'Reliant' produced by German beat-smith Whatson, synergized with cuts from DJ 7L [Czarface / 7L & Esoteric], an openly cathartic song from his debut album 'Ego & The Enemy.'
'Reliant' puts a luminous spotlight on the worldwide culturally prevalent disease of alcoholism. The narrative of the visual distinctly highlights some of the struggles which M-Dot makes both relatable for the viewer but also personally driven from experience.
