Columbus, OH rap-artisan Blueprint has returned with a new single this morning. “Masterpiece” (which is self-produced) is a meditative piece flush with a gospel swell of samples and minimal drums. Serving as a lyrical Thornton Wilder ‘:Print’ narrates another tale of those who fall between the cracks of the spotlight. Speaking on the track he said “It’s the story of an artist who spends her whole life shunning personal relationships to focus on her creative side only to find out that building a family is just as challenging and rewarding as the masterpiece she's been trying to create her entire life.”
