One of the things I’ve been challenging artists to do this year is not be afraid of putting out full length records. Sure they take more time, but I feel you get a better grasp for the artist as a person if the album is done right. New Jersey’s own Jon Crawford has embraced this in his latest project “Circle of Life".
Extending 11 tracks deep, Crawford presents himself with his voice and his voice alone. There are no guest appearances and it fits given the story & narrative Crawford is creating for us. This is hip hop done Jon Crawford’s way, no gimmicks, no corny hooks, just our hero telling his story, the good, the bad and the ugly, in hopes that you’ll be motivated and inspired by it. With “Circle of Life” Jon Crawford creates a consistent project that shouldn’t be passed up. You can stream the LP below.
