Hailing from the underrepresented--or at least under appreciated--Jackson, New Jersey (whether it be south or central is for another time), Sousa continues to move forward with yet another single. "Voicemail" marks four in four weeks, making Friday's a day of anticipation for his steady listeners. The track also enlists C. Truth. The two have connected in the past on tracks like "Let it Be Known" and others.
The camaraderie remains strong on their most recent. Sousa has been able to find a niche as of late, whether it be on twangy guitar loops, high tempo-high velocity drums, or more spacious beats that blur the lines of R&B and trap, like the one on "Voicemail". He utilizes a bassy voice that glazes over verses as well as harmonizes on hooks, making for a well rounded catalogue. Of course, it never hurts to have C. Truth spazz on a verse as well.
Be sure to keep up with Sousa and his newfound format for releases, as he has no intentions of stopping anytime soon. Checkout "Voicemail" below, and find the rest of his music here.
