Eto gleams of a checkered past, consistently laying down rhymes of raw authenticity. There is a pain present in his realness. The stories told likely do no justice for the events that actually happened, but we'll take what we can get. On "The Burial Song" the Rochester native takes to a looming sample floating over sharp drums to air out comments reflecting on time locked up and other hardships. Eto sounds natural and confident, churning out another record worth making the rotation.
