The Alchemist to Meyhem Lauren connection is still potent, and still speaking to the streets. On "Still Playing Celo", Meyhem struts his usual character-defining obscure brags while spitting bars that verify him as a force to be reckoned with. On the production end, Alchemist chops up a sample to perfection and weaves it into some clean drums in his typical fashion. The track feels like cold nights in basements throwing dice at the wall, a legendary optic.
