The return is finally here, back in 2014, Gary, Indiana emcee Freddie Gibbs teamed up with the legendary Madlib to bring us a classic in “Pinata”. After that we immediately anticipated and wanted a sequel. The last few weeks, the duo has posting some promotional materials but today we have the newest track from the duo “Flat Tummy Tea”.
“Flat Tummy Tea” sees our heroes come together and not miss a single beat. Freddie Gibbs’ confidence and ability continue to shine through Madlib’s underground heaters. The song is split into two parts, both worth sticking around for. We have no news on the follow-up LP “Bandana” but if I was a betting man, I think it’s coming soon.
