The artist known as Half Empty latches onto ears all over with his recent single "Irene!". The hook washes over like a wave of static dopamine, lingering for time after. More impressively, the song is self-produced. The instrumental finds an organic marriage with his tone and delivery, letting the track come together from every aspect. With a video to go with it, "Irene!" gets a new element of interest. Half Empty can be seen delivering his words through a variety of fitting shots, including a psychedelic infrared view. Long story short, it's nice to see someone make 3 minutes go a long way.
