Mr Ekow, releases a mission statement in his first single of the year, ‘Gone /
Upstream’. The song showcases a visceral vocal performance, contrasted with low
key production from Philadelphia native, Mochi Robinson. Ekow raps about
shooting his way out of the mundane, while simultaneously divulging his fears
and doubts in the process. With a masterful flow intact and lyrics sharper than
