Chris Orrick: "Liquor Store Hustle"

Chris Orrick (fka Red Pill) from Detroit, is one of my personal favorite emcees of all time. Last year the Mello Music Group artist dropped his third album in “Portraits”. Orrick has always been personal, always has the world under the microscope. Now Orrick is getting set to release his fourth album “Out To Sea” on May 24th, today I have the lead single for the project “Liquor Store Hustle”.

I don’t believe this is a sequel or has anything to do with Orrick’s sophomore classic “Instinctive Drowning” but this sounds like this could be the album I’ve been waiting for this type of album from Orrick for a minute. Orrick himself says “This album is dedicated to the damage done by the 2016 United States Presidential Election, Social Media and the 24 Hour News Cycle.” The single “Liquor Store Hustle” is guaranteed to resonate with everyone, whether it’s from a long day at work, an argument with a partner, we all have down the “Liquor Store Hustle”. Take a listen and get ready for “Out To Sea” dropping May 24th on Mello Music Group.
