have a message for all of the ‘Rap Dads’ out there:
Happy Father’s Day. In a playful tribute to Big L’s recently re-released classic ‘Ebonics’, Pro has updated the slang to match the life and times of the young (and old) families in the hip hop audience.
“Ebonics was a word for word sing-a-long for me
and the homies growing up,” explains Pro, “in my new life, as a dad, I’ve come across a whole new slang and thought it would be fun to give some swag to it.”
This is awesome!
