Hip-hop's forever marijuana ambassador nonchalantly drops off two singles this week, doing so casually on his soundcloud with little build-up. Bomb weed, lavish lifestyle, and other Wiz tribulations become the center of the discussion on the tracks as he rolls along on production that feels so right for peak Wiz. A feel good, cool-handed style that he often loses sight of is at full strength on the two singles for a vintage Wiz feel.
"I'll be Good" samples the song of the same name from 80's duo Rene and Angela, and "Really and Truly" features production from Harry Fraud. The latter of which has proven to be a dynamic link up, making for some of the best tracks in Wiz's catalogue. The big takeaway from the tracks, while a small sample size, is that he can always find a way to revert back to his best form.
