Illogic and DJ Criminal bring you their third and final video "Experience" from their "A Change in Mantra" EP. Experience takes the listener behind the scenes of an artist's life, as illogic explains its not as grandiose or
romantic as the general public might imagine. Illogic has stated this album is the most autobiographical work he has done yet.
Missing children's births and anniversaries are just some of the trials touring artists take on with their chosen profession. Criminal
provides a progressive, somber-Tokyo-romance theme throughout the song that builds up to a climax at the end with a sample that "took me 15 years to track down". The song was mixed and mastered by Joe Mabbot (known for mixing the bulk of Rhymesayers’ artists)
from the Hideaway Studio, which gave Criminal the thick sound he needed for the climax. The video was directed by Blueprint of Soul Position fame.
Due to Criminal residing in the Middle East, this was the first time all three members were able to be involved
in the video production, which took place this October in illogic and Blueprint's hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Find the video below.
