T. Calmese: Everyday feat Magestik Legend (prod by Slot-A) [Official Video]

While 2020 has presented a myriad of new and unique challenges, being Black in America has never been an easy feat. The Slot-A-produced “Everyday” is rapper T. Calmese's personal testimony, as he navigates this unprecedented year, looking for new ways to cope and get by day-to-day. Lifted from his new album Time And Time Again, the song's official music video is out now. The Keem-directed visual follows The Black Opera member through his daily routine in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan.

Time and Time Again (released on all digital streaming platforms on Friday, December 11, 2020) is a profound exploration of the idiom "the more things change, the more they stay the same". Using elements of Afrofuturism (inspired by Lovecraft CountryWatchmen, and the like), the project tells the story of an everyday man communicating with himself across time, along a non-linear journey of self-discovery. The therapeutic process mirrors how society's history, and the way it has been documented, informs our world's current movements and struggles.
